Who doesn’t love a parade, and boy do we have a doozie for you. Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 30, 2010. This will be your chance to show your patriotism and support for all those veterans, past and present, who have made our freedom possible.

If the 2009 parade was any indicator the 2010 parade should have over 100 entrants of all kinds and descriptions including marching bands, floats, balloons, horses, cars, tractors and lots of veterans.

We are looking for parade entrants; does your local/civic organization want to have a float/entry in the parade? The parade entrants will convene @ the old Eugene Field School on South Main street, at 12:15 p.m. where they will be put in line with the other entrants before the parade begins at 2:00 p.m. We will travel North up Main St., past the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum, on to 3rd & Main street where we will then turn East to Jefferson Street, then back South to 6th & Jefferson.
